Is WiseSend free?
Yes. WiseSend is free, needs no account and puts no limit on file size or count.
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
No. Any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS opens your phone. Only the phone needs the WiseSend app.
Do my files go through the internet?
No. Files move straight between your phone and computer over your Wi-Fi or a USB cable, encrypted. This website only helps the two find each other.
Why doesn’t my phone show under Nearby?
Keep WiseSend open on the phone, on the same Wi-Fi as the computer, with Visible nearby on in its Settings, and update to the latest version. You can always scan the code instead.
Can I send very large files?
Yes. There is no size limit. Large files move as fast as your Wi-Fi or USB cable allows, and a whole folder downloads as one ZIP.
Is it safe to use on public Wi-Fi?
Every link is encrypted and every new device needs your Allow on the phone. You choose whether a device can only view or also edit, and you can remove it anytime.
Does WiseSend work with iPhone?
WiseSend is for Android phones today. The computer side works in any browser.
